If you’re looking for some classic Alaskan fare try our mouthwatering Alaskan Golden King Crab or Halibut Fish & Chips. Or drift away from the sea and get down on a BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich. Wash it all down with one of our fresh microbrews and you can feel good about life!

Now…they’re not “Brad Pitt” famous but they’re pretty darn good. Why?!
Our halibut is locally sourced from Haines just 20 miles south of us. The tender white meat is juicy, flaky, and considered some of the finest eating fish on the planet by people who understand superlatives. (But man, they sure are ugly!)
Each piece of Alaskan halibut is dipped in our Skagway Brewing beer batter, fried till it’s golden brown, and served with fries, a lemon wedge, and a side of housemade tartar sauce (ahem–we’ve been told it is also the best tartar sauce ever!). This simple but finger-licking meal can and should be eaten with your hands, but we won’t judge you if you choose to eat it with a knife and fork.
Or will we….?! Nah, just kidding, that’s fine – stay classy.

We highly recommend drinking GOOD beer, so that’s all we offer! This shouldn’t come as a surprise because we also own and operate the Skagway Brewing Company just a few blocks away. Lucky for you,, we have our local brews available on tap here, at The Smokehouse, so live large and choose one (or several!) of our most popular brews to complement your meal.
